Case study Le Plessis-Robinson
Description This geothermal project, in Le Plessis-Robinson, meet the commitment of the OPDH92 (Office Departmental Public Housing) for renewable energy. It is a concrete response to the “States General of the sustainable city” that aims to develop eco-responsibility. The Plessis Robinson’s district heating is mainly powered thanks to geothermal energy. Two wells were dug at 1 k m depth, in an aquifer. This geothermal district heating supplies around 3 500 housing, i.e. about 217 000 m2. The network is around 10 km in total.

PEX = Permis d’exploitation
Cost of the produced MWh gaz : 46,7 € HT/MWh PCS
électricité : 83,8 € HT / Mwhé
environ 40 000 MWh/an (vendus sous station)
Cost of the MWh sold 80 € HT / MWh tout compris (P1-P2-P3 primaire et secondaire)
Pay back 9 ans (subvention inclus)
Innovation if any Production – réinjection dans le néocomien (jamais réalisé en France), test architecture PAC (centralisée), ainsi que exploitation de ce type de centrale géothermique
